2. Create & Taste — The Texture of God's Voice: A Temple Experience
We recreated the feeling of tender mercies in the temple for our kids:
The Hidden Song: Built a blanket-fort “temple” and hid a phone playing beautiful music (“Invitation to Love” by the Philippine Madrigal Singers).
The Discovery: Kids explored the fort, uncovered the music, and noticed it growing louder.
The Lesson: God’s voice is always there, but we hear it more clearly in the temple.
The Treasure: Inside the fort, we revealed a picture of Jesus “holding” paper hearts for each child, with a favorite snack behind each heart. "He" told them, “I have been thinking about you. I am here for you.”

3. Children's Book — Heartfelt Learning
As they enjoyed the snack, we briefly discussed temple covenants in simple terms:
Endowment: Promising to love and serve others. Sealing: Promising to work together for a happy family.
We used My Covenant Path with Jesus to open flaps for each ordinance and invite questions.
To set the tone, we added a theme to the banner we reuse each month:
“I Find Jesus In The Temple.” Sign up for Natalie's e-letters below to receive the banner and these monthly gospel principle highlights.
